Our Story

Our journey began with a simple question: What if fast, healthy food could also be deeply satisfying? Our founder, a neuroscientist born in Malaysia, spent her days unraveling the mysteries of the human brain, yet evenings were devoted to her passion for experimenting with Southeast Asian recipes and learning about the medicinal properties of herbs like turmeric, lemongrass, ginger, and Thai basil.

At Alena’s Lab Kitchen, we believe that eating well should never mean sacrificing flavor. Inspired by the vibrant and healing food traditions of Southeast Asia—we craft gourmet bowls that nourish the body and excite the senses.
